BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – After the cancellations of the men’s soccer team’s first two matches due to Hurricane Dorian, Florida Tech has scheduled a replacement match with Davenport for Friday, September 6.

This match will take place at home on Rick Stottler Field with a 7 p.m. start time.

Davenport experienced a cancellation of its own as it was supposed to open its season Thursday, Sept. 5, against No. 10 Palm Beach Atlantic but that was called off due to Hurricane Dorian.

The cancellations have set the stage for Tech and Davenport to kick off their respective campaigns with an NCAA Division II showdown that opens the Crimson and Gray’s 2019 home slate.
