Moussa Gueye, Viena Massale Comellas Named EFSC Student-Athletes of the Week

men and women's soccer teams will open the Region 8 Conference season this weekend on the road
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A pair of soccer players are this week’s Eastern Florida State College Student-Athletes of the week for the week.
Men’s soccer player Moussa Gueye was integral in the team’s shutout victory against Georgia Military, helping the team to a 3-0 victory.
The sophomore from Senegal is part of a defense that has three shutouts in the first five games of the season.
Women’s soccer player Viena Massale Comellas scored her first goal of the season and assisted on three others to help the women’s soccer team to an 8-0 victory over Columbia State Community College over the weekend.
The freshman from Spain has started both games for the Titans this season.
The men and women’s soccer teams will open the Region 8 Conference season this weekend on the road.
The men’s soccer team travels to Daytona State College on Friday night while the women travel to Broward on Saturday evening.
