Continues to Excel in Protecting the Community
SPACE COAST DAILY TV: In the latest edition of “Sit Down with Steve,” the Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson talks with Rockledge Police K9 Officer Bryan Tabaczynski, who handles Bronx, and Officer Robert Lynch, who handles Zeus.
BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The Rockledge Police Department, which is a division of the Rockledge Department of Public Safety, continues to excel in all areas in which they operate.
None stands out more than the K9 Unit and the Department is blessed to have two very well-trained dogs, Bronx and Zeus.
Equally important, the Department has two very dedicated and conscientious handlers including Officer Bryan Tabaczynski, who handles Bronx, and Officer Robert Lynch, who handles Zeus.
Both have been with their dogs for approximately six years and both K9s are multi-purpose and can do a number of things.
According to Public Safety Director and Chief of Police Joe LaSata, “they are both certified in tracking and narcotics detection.”
One of the things Chief LaSata is most proud of is their record for tracking missing people. Most outcomes have been successful, and a great deal of the credit goes to Officers Tabaczynski and Lynch and their dogs, Bronx and Zeus.
You don’t have to be around the officers and their dogs very long to understand the special bond between man and dog. They truly work together as “one.” And, the citizens of the Rockledge community are the ones that benefit.
