TROPICAL STORM WATCH ISSUED FOR BREVARD: Space Coast Daily’s Chris Bonanno Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine and a Tropical Storm Watch issued for Brevard.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A tropical storm watch is in effect for the Space Coast as Tropical Storm Humberto is expected to form off the Florida coast early Saturday.
The National Hurricane Center said a Tropical Storm Watch has been issued from Jupiter Inlet north to Volusia County.
A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm conditions are possible within the watch area, generally within 48 hours.
Conditions are favorable for the disturbance to become a tropical depression or a tropical storm during the next day or so and forecasters said its formation chance is 80 percent in the next 48 hours and 90 percent over the next five days.
