BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Check out the above drone footage as six cruise ships arrive at busy Port Canaveral on Thursday.

The Port, which reopened on Wednesday after Hurricane Dorian headed north, welcomed a half-dozen cruise ships that had remained at sea to wait out the destructive hurricane.

The six cruise ships included five Port-based vessels Carnival Cruise Line’s Liberty and Elation, Disney Cruise Line’s Dream and Royal Caribbean International’s Harmony of the Seas and Mariner of the Seas.

The sixth cruise ship, Carnival’s Ecstasy, is based out of the Port of Jacksonville, which just reopened today.

The Ecstasy debarked and embarked passengers at the Port, and Carnival transported them between the Port and Jacksonville.

The Ecstasy departed the Port on Thursday night.
