worldwide functional fitness competition for beginner and intermediate athletes

SPACE COAST DAILY TV: The Festivus Games are underway at Harbor City Community Fitness, located at 5145 Commercial Drive in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Festivus Games are underway at Harbor City Community Fitness, located at 5145 Commercial Drive in Melbourne.

The Festivus Games is a worldwide functional fitness competition for beginner and intermediate athletes (advanced athletes aka fire breathers have to sit this one out!) that we have run at HC2 Gym since the beginning of its formation.

It occurs twice yearly, once in the spring, and once in the fall, and varies from individual competition, same-sex teams, and mixed pairs teams and this fall the event is hosting same-sex teams.

“There are varying degrees of participation from novice, intermediate, and masters – which is a unique combination of two athletes whose combined age is 90,” said Dani Hoddinott, General Manager and Head Coach of Harbor City Community Fitness.
