Each month, the ladies visit Cape View to recognize a teacher who is making a difference

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The American Legion Post 348 Ladies Auxiliary based in Cape Canaveral has been recognized as a Heart of Brevard nominee by Cape View Elementary for their efforts to demonstrate actions of kindness and celebrate teachers.

Each month, the ladies visit Cape View to recognize a teacher who is making a difference and presents them with a special basket and words of inspiration.

“This has brought many smiles to the faces of our teachers, and has made them feel appreciated by the community,” said Cape View principal Jill Keane.

“It’s the little things in life that really touch the heart and mean so much.”
