BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Recently, deputies from our North and Canaveral Precincts participated in a fun day at Pinewood Elementary School in Mims, where they got the chance to compete against the students in a friendly game of Kickball.

The game was hosted by Pinewood Elementary to reward the participating students for “positive behavior” and to introduce them to some of the members of our team.

While those watching felt the competition was pretty lopsided with the students showing far more athleticism, it was a fun day that was enjoyed by everyone!!

I am always amazed at how our team members keep our community safe but am even more amazed at how much they go above and beyond to keep our community a great place to call home.

Regardless, if it’s chasing bad guys or running bases during a Kickball Game with kids, they make our agency shine each and everyday as one of the most professional agencies in the country!!

Great Job everyone and thank you to the staff at Pinewood Elementary for inviting us to be part of the event!
