Brevard County Fire Rescue, Health First’s First Flight Respond to Trauma Alert on Merritt Island

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue Engine 40, Rescue 41, District 40 and Health First’s First Flight responded to a severe traumatic injury on North Merritt Island Tuesday afternoon.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, the victim, who was involved in a vehicle incident, was flown to a local trauma center for treatment.

The Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene conducting an investigation.
