Brevard Public Schools, Brevard Federation of Teachers Union Resume Contract Talks Today

Now turning their attention to improvements to work conditions

With pay raises settled, Brevard Public Schools and the Brevard Federation of Teachers will resume contract negotiations Thursday, turning their attention to improvements to work conditions for more than 4,800 teachers, counselors and others covered by the contract.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – With pay raises settled, Brevard Public Schools and the Brevard Federation of Teachers will resume contract negotiations Thursday, turning their attention to improvements to work conditions for more than 4,800 teachers, counselors and others covered by the contract.

The bargaining meeting will be from 4-7 p.m. in the Brevard Public Schools headquarters, located at 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way.

The meeting will be in the cafeteria and is open to the public.

However, rooms used by the bargaining teams when they caucus will be closed to the public.
