OCALA, FLORIDA – I was honored to speak about the Opioid Epidemic as a Speaker for the 66th Annual Educational Conference of the Association of Florida Healthcare Auxiliaries in Ocala, Florida.

The Auxiliaries are primarily volunteers that serve and support healthcare facilities and hospitals throughout the state of Florida.

These amazing men and women who volunteer thousands of hours each year have seen firsthand the impact that the opioid epidemic has caused in our hospitals and in our communities.

It was an honor to present to them as they were eager to gain awareness about the opioid crisis and to learn how they can be part of the solution.

I would like to personally thank Judy Boles for inviting me to speak at the conference and also thank everyone who attended the conference for all they do every day to help others in a time of need!
