Drug Busts In Palm Bay Results In Over $40,000 Worth in Drugs, Two Men Arrested

Melvin Redhead and Peter Seemadray arrested

The men arrested have been identified as 40-year-old Melvin Redhead and 34-year-old Peter Seemadray.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police arrested two men on Wednesday in a major drug bust that yielded the confiscation of drugs, money, and firearms.

The men arrested have been identified as 40-year-old Melvin Redhead and 34-year-old Peter Seemadray.

Police made the arrests at the two residents’ homes on the 1100 block of Early Dr. and 1700 block of Las Palmos Dr., respectively.

Investigators say the investigation lasted several months long that included Palm Bay Police and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office SWAT teams.

Between the two warrants at the two houses, police recovered the following: 

– $42,000 in US currency

– 385 grams of cocaine

– 229 grams of heroin/fentanyl

– 18 firearms

Out of the 18 firearms, four of the firearms were confirmed stolen out of Palm Bay, Melbourne, and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is over $40,000, according to Palm Bay Police

Redhead faces charges of Trafficking in Heroin/Fentanyl and Traffiking in Cocaine.

Seemadray faces charges of Possession of Cocaine and Grand Theft of a Firearm. Both men were later transported to the Brevard County Jail.
