Florida Tech Men’s Soccer Team Garners United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

This is the Panthers' sixth straight appearance on the list and seventh in the last eight years
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech’s 2018-19 men’s soccer was recently honored with the United Soccer Coaches team academic award.
The USC team academic award is given to teams that achieve above a 3.0 GPA and 994 (346 men, 648 women) collegiate teams achieved the mark.
However, only 258 schools had both their men’s and women’s teams make the cut and Florida Tech was one of them as the women’s team also received the honor.
This is the Panthers’ sixth straight appearance on the list and seventh in the last eight years.
Florida Tech’s 2019-20 team will be back in action Wednesday, Oct. 9, when the team heads to St. Petersburg, Florida to take on Eckerd. This match will begin at 7 p.m.
