Major Cruise Lines Operating Out of Port Canaveral Earn Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Honors

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – All four major cruise lines that operate out of Port Canaveral were recognized in Condé Nast Traveler’s 32nd annual Readers’ Choice Awards survey.

Royal Caribbean International, which bases the Harmony of the Seas, below, and Mariner of the Seas at the Port, was named Best Cruise Line for Mega Ships, or ships with more than 4,000 guests.

Norwegian Cruise Line, which bases the Norwegian Sun at the Port, finished third.

For the eighth year in a row, Disney Cruise Line was named Best Cruise Line for Large Ships, or cruise ships with 2,500 to 4,000 passengers.

For medium ships or ships with 500 to 2,500 guests, Disney was ranked No. 9 and Norwegian was ranked No. 16.

This year, more than 600,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers from across the globe rated their travel experiences. In the cruise category, voters evaluated more than 400 cruise ships across a multitude of brands.
