BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay police officers are currently on the scene on U.S. Highway 1, near RJ Conlan Boulevard, at a single-vehicle traffic fatality.

The southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 1 are closed.

Palm Bay police officials request motorists to reroute your travels to avoid the area as it is unknown when the road will reopen.

FPL is working to restore power to the local area.

The identity of the victim or the circumstances of the crash has not been yet released.
