Palm Bay Police Seeking Assistance to Locate Missing Endangered Janay Ruby Campbell

Campbell is schizophrenic and is without her medication, last seen on Oct. 9

The Palm Bay Police Department is looking for help from the public to locate missing endangered Janay Ruby Campbell, believed to be in the Tampa area. Campbell, 24, was last seen as she left her home in Palm Bay on October 9 and has not returned. She is a black female, 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Police Department is looking for help from the public to locate missing endangered Janay Ruby Campbell, believed to be in the Tampa area.

Campbell, 24, was last seen as she left her home in Palm Bay on October 9 and has not returned. She is a black female, 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.

Palm Bay Police Lt. Mike Smith said Campbell is schizophrenic and is without her medication.

“She has been contacting her family, leaving bizarre text messages, which lead them to believe she is having a schizophrenic episode and may harm herself,” said Smith.

Campbell was last seen driving a blue 2004 Toyota Solara two-door with Florida tag LYAR 28.
