BREVARD COUNTY • INDIALANTIC, FLORIDA – Scott Ashley, president of Indialantic Elementary’s Dad’s Club, has been recognized by principal Lori Braga for his amazing volunteer work in helping to create an outdoor butterfly and learning garden for students.

He assisted with planting the garden, securing and laying mulch, and repairing the sprinklers. He has even offered his time to help design a recycle garden this fall.

Because of Ashley, Indialantic now has a beautiful and educational outdoor space for students to observe and learn about insects, hosts, plants, and the natural environment.

They can even bring in caterpillars and watch them evolve into butterflies.

“Mr. Ashley is always looking for ways to help our students and enhance our school community,” said Braga.

“He puts his heart into everything he does for our school and we are very lucky to have him.”
