BCFR: Heavy fire conditions with zero visibility

BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – Titusville Fire and Brevard County Fire Rescue units are battling a structure blaze on the 2800 block of E. Main Street in Mims.

Brevard County Fire Rescue first reported on Sunday afternoon that units were working the residential single-story structure with E22 “in offensive strategy.”

“Heavy fire conditions with zero visibility, not making progress,” said Brevard County Fire Rescue officials, “switching to defensive, District 20 with command.”

The homeowner advised Brevard County Fire rescue that everyone in the house had escaped and no injuries were reported.
