Vehicle Crashes Into Viera Home and Transformer, One Person Injured

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle that crashed into a house located at the 1400 block of Grand Isle Blvd. in Viera on Thursday.

The vehicle took out a transformer before hitting home, according to Brevard County Fire Rescue.

Officials say minimum damage was done to the home, along with moderate damage to the vehicle.

Details on why the vehicle crashed into the house are still unfolding.

Florida Power and Lighting have been called to the scene.

The person inside the vehicle has been identified as an elderly man. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
