BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – During the Cocoa Tigers 58-0 victory over Holy Trinity on Friday night, Ashley Adneau became the first female in school history to catch a pass in a varsity football game. 

The 5-foot-4-inch Adneau decided to join the Cocoa Tigers football team for her senior year and was able to earn a spot on the varsity roster.

In the fourth quarter against Holy Trinity with 9:55 remaining on the clock, Tiger QB Diego Arroyo threw to Adneau in the flat and she made the record-setting reception.

The 6-2 Cocoa Tigers will take on the 7-1 Rockledge Raiders at McLarty Stadium on Friday, November 1 fin the much-anticipated annual Barbecue Bowl.
