What to Expect from the Viva Brevard Festival on Oct. 12

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Brevard Hispanic Center will be hosting a Festival in Palm Bay from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 12.
Hispanic Heritage Month is in full swing! Meaning that the last couple of weeks have been filled with all of our favorite music, food and everything in between from the Latin American community.
On October 5, we will see the Viva Brevard Gala take place over at the Red Ginger Restaurant, and following that, it will be the Viva Brevard Festival on October 12 at Fred Poppe Regional Park in Palm Bay. Here’s what you can expect to get up to.
Entertainment
“Latin American food vendors will also be in abundance at this year’s festival so be sure to bring a big appetite with you on the day,” says Camila de Cordova of reviewbox.com.mx, a Mexican native who lives and works in the Space Coast region, has personally benefited from the work that is done by the Brevard Hispanic Center, and tries to attend every year.
“In addition to this, there is also going to be some great live Latin music alongside other cultural entertainment.” She continues.
“Kids will also have plenty of things to keep them occupied at the festival thanks to the kid’s zone and fun activities throughout the day including face painting, bounce houses and ample opportunity for arts and crafts that are all Hispanic inspired”
“Add this to the raffles and the great feeling of the whole community coming together and it’s sure to be a great day out for all” she concludes.
Prices
The festival is complimentary for visitors with sponsorships from businesses welcome.
All proceeds of the event will be going towards the Viva Brevard Hispanic Center, which has been set up in our community to help promote the integration and multiculturalism of our wonderful community.
Sponsorship options are available at a gold, silver and bronze level which are $1,000, $3,000 and $5,000 respectively and include benefits such as complimentary local advertising, web banners at Vivabrevard.com and tables at the Viva Brevard Gala which will be held on October 5.
Business and Community Expo
As part of the festival, there will also be a Business and Community Expo taking place at the same time. If you are a business or work as an individual, you can purchase tables at the event.
Individuals can pay just $50, with small business tables coming in at $100 and large business tables costing $200.
Local food vendor? It’s just $200 to pitch up at Viva Brevard this year.
It looks like it’s going to be a great Saturday out, here’s hoping for an abundance of Empanadas and Pinchos and a bit of Sunshine.
