BAPS Charities Hosting Health Fair With Focus on Preventative Care

With a focus on preventative care, BAPS Charities is hosting a Health Fair on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Health Fair will be held at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, located at 801 Masterson Street in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – With a focus on preventative care, BAPS Charities is hosting a Health Fair on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The health fair will offer blood work and a range of health screenings and all members of the community are welcome to participate.

Screening includes those for Diabetes, Cholesterol, Body fat, eye and dental issues, Anemia, obesity, skin problems and osteoporosis

Educational materials will be available during health fair and include health awareness counseling by primary care and specialty care from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Free flu shots will be offered to the first 100 participants, and free Hepatitis A vaccines to the first 50 participants.

Lunch will be served from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and an appreciation ceremony will be held 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Sabha Hall

The Health Fair will be held at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, located at 801 Masterson Street in Melbourne.

Dr. Sangiv Patel of the Smile Gallery dental practice was the organizer and coordinator of the Health Fair. Patel is the outreach coordinator for BAPS.
