Brevard and Mims Fire Units Extinguish Heavily Involved Class A RV That Threatened Home

Fire broke out in the 2600 block of Frontier Drive in north Titusville

Brevard County Fire Rescue and Mims Volunteer Fire Department units responded to a vehicle fire Saturday about 9:22 a.m. Saturday. The fire broke out in the 2600 block of Frontier Drive in north Titusville where a heavily involved Class A recreational vehicle went up in flames threatening a home.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue and Mims Volunteer Fire Department units responded to a vehicle fire Saturday about 9:22 a.m. Saturday.

The fire broke out in the 2600 block of Frontier Drive in north Titusville where a heavily involved Class A recreational vehicle went up in flames threatening a home.

Fortunately, firefighters assumed a defensive posture to protect the adjacent home and were able to extinguish the RV fire before reaching the residential structure.

The cause of the fire has not been released and there were no injuries reported.
