Child Airlifted After Incident in Therapy Pool at WJ Creel Elementary School in Melbourne

The child was breathing when they were airlifted to a local hospital early in the afternoon on Thursday, according to BPS spokesperson Nicki Hensley
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A child was airlifted to a local hospital after an incident in the therapy pool at WJ Creel Elementary, located at 2000 Glenwood Drive in Melbourne, early Thursday afternoon.
According to Brevard Public Schools spokesperson Nicki Hensley, the child was breathing when they were airlifted to the hospital.
A nurse at the school helped to assist with the incident, Hensley added.
