City of Melbourne Seeking Residents to Volunteer to Serve on Library Board

Melbourne libraries are under the direction of the Brevard County Library System

The City of Melbourne is seeking volunteers to serve on the Library Board. Applicants must reside within the City of Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The City of Melbourne is seeking volunteers to serve on the Library Board. Applicants must reside within the City of Melbourne.

The libraries are under the direction of the Brevard County Library System.

The board advises and consults with library directors on the operation and maintenance of the libraries and reviews and makes recommendations on the proposed operating budget for each fiscal year.

The board also makes recommendations to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the administrative function of the free public library service within the district.
