Cocoa Beach Police Now Accepting Applications for 2020 Citizen’s Academy

Participants will gain knowledge and insight of each City department

Cocoa Beach Police Department is now accepting applications for the 25th session of their annual Citizen’s Academy, scheduled to begin January 14.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police Department is now accepting applications for the 25th session of their annual Citizen’s Academy, scheduled to begin January 14.

Those interested must submit completed applications in person to the Cocoa Beach Police Dept., Records Division, 20 S. Orlando Ave., no later than November 27.

Once the class has been filled, applications will no longer be accepted.

The academy runs 14 weeks on Tuesday evenings for about three hours, and one Saturday class.

Participants will gain knowledge and insight of each City department through discussions, demonstrations, and site visits pertaining to the City of Cocoa Beach government.
