BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution last week supporting the on-going inquiry into impeaching President Donald Trump.

Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) voted against the resolution and released the following statement:

“After spending nearly two years and $32 million investigating President Trump of colluding with Russia to win the 2016 election, the Mueller investigation found nothing,” said Posey.

“Instead of looking into why so many got this wrong, House leaders have decided to just move on and accuse the President of more unfounded wrongdoing. Washington has been consumed by this for far too long.

It’s time to get to work on crafting a budget, securing our borders, addressing the high cost of prescription drugs and other priorities for the American people.”
