The Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene of a fatal crash Friday morning on I-95 northbound at Cocoa/Rockledge mile marker 198. A traffic alert was issued by the Florida Highway Patrol after a van struck the back of a semi-truck. 

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene of a fatal crash Friday morning on I-95 northbound at Cocoa/Rockledge mile marker 198.

A traffic alert was issued by the Florida Highway Patrol after a van struck the back of a semi-truck.

The alert was issued for motorists headed northbound on Interstate 95.

Brevard County Fire Rescue units and law enforcement are on the scene.

The circumstances of the crash is being investigated and the identity of the victim has not yet been released.
