Shooting Victim Transported to Brevard Hospital After Argument Between Neighbors Turns Physical

Melbourne police officers responded to a shooting Friday just before 12 noon and in the 900 block of Footbridge Drive in the Meadows Mobile Home Park. “Upon arrival, it was discovered there had been an argument between neighbors that turned physical,” said Melbourne police Lt. Shawn Eising.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne police officers responded to a shooting Friday just before 12 noon and in the 900 block of Footbridge Drive in the Meadows Mobile Home Park.

“Upon arrival, it was discovered there had been an argument between neighbors that turned physical,” said Melbourne police Lt. Shawn Eising.

“One adult male pulled a handgun and shot the adult victim.”

Lt. Eising said the victim was transported to a local hospital and is reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.

This investigation is still ongoing.
