BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Stone Magnet Middle School social worker, Anna Maria Curry, has been recognized by teammate and ESE teacher Stephanie Ludlow for the difference she has made in helping to build a campus culture of positivity and kindness at Stone.

Ms. Curry has implemented several new programs for students; the most significant being the school’s Gopher Market, which opened last month.

The market provides food, school supplies and hygiene products to any Stone student. Curry also partners with other classes to promote service learning.

During the morning before school, you can find her on the patio greeting students. This simple gesture has resulted in a huge change in student demeanor and attitudes.

“She is looked up to by many students and has made all of them feel welcomed and accepted,” said Ludlow.

“She is a great resource to others and will succeed in anything she does!”
