If you find it difficult to deal with your anxiety on a day to day basis then you need to know that medication isn’t the only option.
In fact, there are so many options out there and when you give them a go, you will soon find that it is possible for you to manage everything without having to worry.
Pay Attention to Sleep
Sleep is super important. If you aren’t getting enough sleep, or if you’re getting too much sleep then you may find that this works against you and that you are also unable to deal with everything that comes your way.
If you want to help yourself here, then you need to get an average of 8 hours per night. If you believe that your anxiety is making it hard for you to get to sleep, then it helps to create a solid routine.
You have to go to bed at the same time every night regardless of whether you’re tired or not, and you also need to get up at the same time too.
If you still struggle, then it may be wise for you to look into marijuana for anxiety. When you do take cannabis for anxiety, you may feel much more relaxed and you may even feel as though the physical symptoms of anxiety are alleviated too.
Ease up on Caffeine
If you feel constantly worn out because of your anxiety then you may feel as though caffeine is the solution. After all, it helps to keep you awake and it also allows you to fight through those feelings of stress.
This is not always the case at all because caffeine can make you jittery and it can also kick your anxiety into overdrive. Remember that caffeine is present in way more than just coffee. It’s also present in things like chocolate!
Schedule Worry Time
Doctors actually recommend that you set a time so that you plan a time that you can worry at. Take 30 minutes or so to identify what is bothering you. When you have done this, you can then give yourself 30 minutes to think about it. When that time is up, move on and focus on other things.
It does help to have your worry session at the same time every single day as well. If you do, then you will soon find that you feel better and that you can also process what is making you so anxious.
Breathe
Breathing sends a message to your brain that everything is okay. It helps to put your mind and your body at ease, and it also helps you to bring yourself back into the current moment.
If you want to make the most out of your time, then lie down on a flat surface and put one hand on your stomach and the other on your chest. Take a deep breath and focus as the air leaves your body.
This will help you to unwind and it will also help you to relax.
