Which Women’s Jeans are Fashionable to Wear in Florida?
By Space Coast Daily // November 19, 2019
Although Florida is known as the Sunshine State, we still get a few colder days here and there! For those times, or even for semi-formal occasions, you’ll need a decent pair of jeans.
The trouble is… how are you supposed to know which type of jeans are trending right now? Boyfriend jeans? Skinny jeans? Don’t worry, we’ll provide a few tips to ensure your jeans will suit you perfectly, whether you live in or are just visiting Florida.
One of the biggest trends in jeans right now is embroidered denim, which works best for distressed, straight-leg jeans with embellishments like floral embroidery, metallic stars, or even plastic buttons.
For a vintage look, look for jeans with satin ribbon strips on each side, especially in bright pink or green. This embroidery and embellishment trend is all about putting a feminine spin on a classic denim look.
High-waist skinny jeans
The skinny jean will never go away despite what some other blogs might say. Versatile, sexy, and cool, skinny jeans are often the go-to pair for nights out, first dates, or shopping with friends.
High-waist jeans give your body a great figure, especially when worn with heels. Blue, black, or white, doesn’t really matter. Try a pair with rips for some extra rock girl chic.
If you don’t like the faded look, make sure you know how to wash jeans correctly to keep them in good condition.
These typically sit at the waist, but the bigger difference to most skinny jeans is the rolled-up cuff. Although you can find some options cuffed almost to the knees, a safe, fashionable cuff should be around 2-3 inches.
Great with sneakers, skinny jeans with a turned-up cuff give your wardrobe yet another special pair and there will definitely come days where your outfit will call for these.
Some fashion runways are presenting jeans that are so baggy that it makes walking look difficult! However, we don’t recommend anything so big that it makes it look like you’re swimming in them.
Baggy wide-leg jeans are more or less the new “mom jeans”, and are more often used for casual situations.
But for women who don’t like skinny or straight leg options, or think that boyfriend jeans just aren’t feminine enough, then baggy wide-leg jeans can be paired with a graphic t-shirt and even ankle boots for a really cool look.
