BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue, with assistance from the Melbourne Fire Department, responded to the 2800 block of West New Haven Avenue in West Melbourne Saturday evening for a commercial fire.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue officials, units arrived to find a sign on fire above a restaurant in a strip plaza.

“The fire was quickly extinguished and the damage was isolated to the sign and facade,” said Brevard County Fire Rescue officials.

There were no injuries reported.
