Brevard Public Schools Now Accepting Applications for Registered Behavior Technicians

Registered Behavior Technicians work directly with clients including children with autism

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools is now accepting applications to allow privately-paid Registered Behavior Therapists into classrooms to assist students with special needs as early as January.

Registered Behavior Technicians work directly with clients including children with autism to implement behavior treatment plans.

Often funded by Medicaid, they work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Packets are now available on the Brevard Public Schools website for parents to complete and turn in to their child’s schools for processing.

The packets can be found in the “Parent/Student” portal linked from the homepage, and then by clicking “Outside Providers.”

The application packet can be filled out electronically. Next, packets must be turned into the child’s school either in hard copy or digital.

Participating RBT vendors must also pick up an “Application for Use of School Building Facilities” from any of our Brevard Public Schools.

This form must be returned to the child’s school in hard copy.
