BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This past week members of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office along with members of the Cocoa Beach Police Department, Melbourne Police Department, Cocoa Police Department, Titusville Police Department, Rockledge Police Department, West Melbourne Police Department and the City of Palm Shores held the annual “Reverse Christmas Parade” throughout Brevard County.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and local law enforcement agencies have joined together since 2014 to collect toys for children in need in the community.
Businesses and citizens always look forward to lining the streets and waiting for the parade to travel by, so they can donate toys and be a part of making a child’s Christmas special!
This effort is another great example of how well our citizens and Law Enforcement Officers partner together to make Brevard County such an awesome place to call home.
I would like to personally thank all of the businesses and citizens who came out to support the event, and all of the Law Enforcement Agencies and volunteers who helped make the event such a tremendous success.
As you can see from the photo we were truly blessed to receive a significant amount of toys to help make sure everyone has a Merry Christmas.
