Eastern Florida State Women’s Basketball Wins Fourth Straight Against College of Central Florida

PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team won its fourth straight game on Saturday, defeating the College of Central Florida 78-68 in the Florida College’s Women’s Basketball Shootout in Panama City.

The Titans improved to 9-1 on the season which is the program’s best start in two decades.

Eastern Florida State College came out strong in the third quarter, scoring 32 points in the third and held on to pick up the win.

Anja Knoflach scored a season-high 15 points to lead the Titans while teammate Skye Williams had 13 points, Jacquelyn Levay finished with 11 and Zahria Jenkins had 10.

Mercy Gonzalez had a team-high eight rebounds to go with her eight points in the win.

The Titans will travel to Niceville to play in the NWF Classic on Thursday and Friday.
