Eastern Florida Women’s Basketball Falls to South Georgia Tech 73-66 at Lady Jet Holiday Classic

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA –The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team lost to South Georgia Tech in a battle of top 25 teams in the Lady Jet Holiday Classic in Americus, Ga.

The Titans battled back from a sluggish second quarter to take a one-point lead heading to the fourth quarter.

But South Georgia Tech finished strong, picking up the 73-66 win.

Stephanie Torres finished with a team-high 22 points while Skye Williams had 15 points. Milan Schimmel had a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in the game.

The Titans, who are now 12-2 overall, will play Georgia Highlands on Monday afternoon at 2 p.m.
