Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Announces Port Canaveral Homeported Ships for 2021-22 Season

Allure of the Seas will sail alternating seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Royal Caribbean International recently announced its 2021-22 season for its cruise ships sailing from Port Canaveral.

In summer 2021, Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas will sail alternating seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, visiting the cruise line’s Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Launched in 2009, the 1,118 foot-long, Oasis-class cruise ship has a maximum capacity of 6,780 guests and 2,200 crew.

Royal Caribbean announced a $165 million refurbishment for the 225,000 gross-ton Allure that should be ready by May 2020.

Upgrades include the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea with a 10-story plunge, and The Perfect Storm, a trio of multistory waterslides.

In November 2021, Allure will depart for her winter season and Harmony of the Seas will return to the Port, offering seven-night alternating Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, with stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Summer 2021 Caribbean sailings onboard Harmony and Allure are now open for bookings.

Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas will sail from the Port year-round, offering three- and four-night Bahamas and Perfect Day at CocoCay itineraries in the summer.

She will then transition to four- and five-night itineraries in the winter. Sailings onboard Mariner will open the week of Dec. 16.
