State Farm Insurance Awards $5,000 Grant to Cocoa Beach High Earmarked for Fitness Program

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – State Farm Insurance has awarded a $5,000 grant to Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School to help their fitness, health and wellness programs.

“We want to raise health and fitness awareness among all our students and staff,” said Ray Kimball, Athletic Director Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School.

“We are excited to team up with State Farm Insurance Company to assist in upgrading our Athletic Department facilities and programs.”

The State Farm grant will be used to purchase various treadmills, dumbbell sets, workout mats, heart monitors and fitness workbooks.

“This is a great way for us to support our community,” said State Farm agent Sara Houston.

“The much-needed equipment and supplies will help keep and encourage students and teachers to stay healthy.”

The special grant check presentation was done by State Farm agent Sara Houston last week at Cocoa Beach High during halftime of the boys varsity basketball game.
