Cruise Terminal 3 is up and crews are working on the inside of the building

ABOVE VIDEO: Construction of the 6-story, 1,800 car parking garage began in April. Now, after 652 piles and 1216 pieces of pre-cast panels the parking garage structure is nearing completion.

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Construction of the 6-story, 1,800 car parking garage began in April. 

Now, after 652 piles and 1216 pieces of pre-cast panels the parking garage structure is nearing completion.

Still remaining is the installation of four elevators, electrical, lighting, ground floor asphalt and paint. The garage is scheduled to be completed in April 2020.

Cruise Terminal 3 is up and crews are working on the inside of the building.

The marine works are also progressing rapidly and it’s amazing to see the progress in just 9 months.

Cruise Terminal 3 is expected to have its grand opening in July 2020, ahead of the October 2020 arrival of Carnival Cruise Line’s newest and most innovative cruise ship – the Mardi Gras.

With a maximum capacity of 6,500 guests, the Mardi Gras will be the first LNG-powered cruise ship to homeport in North America.

Cruise Terminal 3 is expected to have its grand opening in July 2020, ahead of the October 2020 arrival of Carnival Cruise Line’s newest and most innovative cruise ship – the Mardi Gras. With a maximum capacity of 6,500 guests, the Mardi Gras will be the first LNG-powered cruise ship to homeport in North America.
