West Melbourne Police Announced Change in Traffic Pattern to Alleviate Back Ups

The West Melbourne Police Department announced there has been a change in the traffic pattern heading eastbound and leaving the Sawgrass community. As can be seen in the above image, the change in the right lane enables drivers to go straight or turn right and will help alleviate a lot of the traffic back up. The left lane is now ONLY for left turns.

Attention Sawgrass Lakes Residents and Pineapple Cove Parents

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The West Melbourne Police Department announced there has been a change in the traffic pattern heading eastbound and leaving the Sawgrass community.

As can be seen in the above image, the change in the right lane enables drivers to go straight or turn right and will help alleviate a lot of the traffic back up.

The left lane is now ONLY for left turns.

The West Melbourne Police ask motorists to please be mindful of the changes and drive safely.

Over the next few weeks, Brevard County Traffic Engineering will be working on traffic patterns and making adjustments to the traffic lights along Minton Road.

West Melbourne police officials said that you may see them in the area, so please know they are working very hard to alleviate some of the traffic complaints and make everyone’s commute a little easier.
