The cross-genre fictional tale uncovers the dynamic interpretation of Sid’s identity through the lives of people in Cocoa Beach. His identity to one person, is uniquely that, he affects one person in a way someone else may never understand.

Below is an excerpt from the tale, by the author:

“…It’s not clear just exactly who Sid Hart is or was. His story unfolds through the lives and struggles of the folks in and around Cocoa Beach, Florida. What is clear is the effect that this aging tennis pro has on the people around him. The story unfolds in a series of vignettes about twenty-one characters and their relationship to the seemingly ordinary Sid Hart. But perhaps we mistake the extraordinary for the ordinary because we no longer recognize what either means. The novel explores those connections. In that exploration, we slowly see more clearly just who Sid Hart is through his relationship with those people around him, trying to navigate their passing through. Maybe he can help.”

Richards is a veteran writer, with the story of Sid Hart being one of three recent pieces in the last few years. Other novels include the highly-rated “Unseen Hand of Peter Gyges” which is a thrilling corporate saga. Richards finds inspiration for his novels through travel, building relationships, and staying active.
