Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey provided an update for Sheriffs from around the state of Florida on Monday concerning the training efforts of the Florida Sheriff’s Association during the opening session of the FSA Winter Conference.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – I was pleased to provide an update for Sheriffs from around the state of Florida on Monday concerning the training efforts of the Florida Sheriff’s Association during the opening session of the FSA Winter Conference.

As the “Training Coordinator” for the Florida Sheriff’s Association, I work closely with the FSA team in scheduling and facilitating various types of training throughout the state of Florida.

As part of their efforts to provide the very latest and up to date training for Law Enforcement Officers in our great state, the Florida Sheriff’s Association provides training in various arenas to include cold case investigations, command procedures, corrections, and many other vital components of our profession.

I would like to personally thank David Brand and Matt Dunagan of the Florida Sheriff’s Association as well as the other team members of the FSA for all they do to facilitate training around the state of Florida and to help make Florida’s Law Enforcement Officers the most professional in the nation!

– Sheriff Wayne Ivey
