BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA –  On Saturday, February 8, Open Mike’s Coffee Lounge will host a live concert featuring some of the hottest bands in Central Florida.

The night’s lineup will include Orlando’s Raising Cadence, Tampa’s Sick Hot and Melbourne-based The Spring.

The tri-city meetup will be a unique opportunity for concertgoers to see and hear some of the best bands that Central Florida has to offer, all in a unique and intimate concert venue.

“This will be a great night featuring some very talented Florida-based acts,” said Gary Greaves of New Ray Media, who is helping to coordinate the event.

“All of these bands put on amazing live shows, so this is a must-see event for music lovers in the area,” he added.

This concert is for all ages with a $5 door charge. The opening act will take the stage at around 8 p.m. Open Mike’s Coffee Lounge is located at 454 N Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935.

BAND PROFILES

The Spring – Originating from the Space Coast of Florida, The Spring is best known for its dynamic live performances and unique sound that couples sailing reverb-filled indie guitar tones with a gritty alternative flair.

Members have fused together vastly different styles to create a power quartet that has taken the Central Florida music scene by storm.

The band has been featured in various news and media outlets, including Orlando’s News 13 and was recently crowned winners of WFIT 89.5’s Garage Band Contest.

Sick Hot – Managed by 3-time Grammy Winner Jim Chambers, Tampa-based Sick Hot brings pure Rock ‘n Roll with groove and passion.

Influenced by elements from Zeppelin to Soundgarden, but 100% original, the band is as raw as they come. Sick Hot’s recently released debut EP, “House of Delight,” is available on all streaming platforms.

Raising Cadence – Hailing from Orlando, Raising Cadence formed in early 2014 and has been playing and recording with a great response from their audience.

With edgy, progressive and melodic tones, the band is a force that’s not only sure to tear through their scene, but also create new ones in the process.
