Sewer Line Force Main Replacement Targeted for North Riverside Drive in Indialantic

Construction for a $9.7 million PVC force main replacement project on North Riverside Drive in Indialantic is set to begin in mid- to late February following the awarding of a contract to RIC-MAN Construction Florida Inc.

BREVARD COUNTY • INDIALANTIC, FLORIDA – Construction for a $9.7 million PVC force main replacement project on North Riverside Drive in Indialantic is set to begin in mid- to late February following the awarding of a contract to RIC-MAN Construction Florida Inc.

It is anticipated that some minor modifications of pedestrian traffic along North Riverside Drive will take place beginning Wednesday, Jan. 27, and modification of pedestrian and motoring traffic will be in place beginning Feb.17.

Work is slated to begin at the south end of the 3.3-mile long project adjacent to the western end of Oakland Avenue in Indialantic.

The project will extend across North Riverside Drive with the pipe to be installed along the western side of North Riverside Drive throughout the length of the project.

The northern limit of the project ends in the middle of North Riverside Drive directly east of the Highland Mint, just south of East Eau Gallie Boulevard.

Completion of the project is expected in July 2021.
