BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team came out firing on all cylinders in the third quarter on their way to their 18th win of the season Saturday at Titan Field House.

The women’s basketball team scored 40 points in the third quarter which is one shy of the program record and went on to post the 102-69 victory over Broward College in a non-conference matchup.

The 25th-ranked Titans came out of the locker room leading by one, 34-33 but went on a 17-0 run to begin the third as Jacquelyn Levay hit four 3-pointers in the third quarter alone while Skye Williams had all eight of her points in the quarter.

Overall the women hit 19 3-pointers in the game which is the most this season which is the most in past 12 seasons.

Zahria Jenkins led the attack with a career-high 19 points while Milan Schimmel finished with her fourth double-double scoring 18 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Levay finished with 15 points and Stephanie Torres had 14.

The Titans will return to Suncoast Conference action Wednesday night, traveling to St. Petersburg for a 5:30 p.m. game.
