Huntington Place has partnered with Hospice of St. Francis to create a “Wall of Honor”
BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – I had the pleasure of attending the “We Honor Veterans Celebration” on Friday at Huntington Place in Rockledge, along with Mayor Tom Price and Deputy Mayor Frank Forester of the Rockledge City Council.
Huntington Place has partnered with Hospice of St. Francis to create a “Wall of Honor” in tribute to Veterans who are currently residing and or working at the facility.
During the unveiling ceremony, 13 residents and four staff members who currently reside at Huntington Place were honored with a special Veterans Pin that was ceremonially placed on them by Mayor Price.
As part of the tribute, Huntington Place dedicated a wall that features all of their Veterans in an effort to let them know that we will always honor their service to our great nation.
It was an honor to meet all of the Veterans and to hear their stories and various assignments. I would like to personally thank Diana Kuzman and Amanda Herrnkind for hosting the event for the Veterans and also thank our Veterans for their incredible service to our great nation. Without their service our country would not be what it is today.
