SHERIFF IVEY: GUESS WHO DIDN’T WIN LAST WEEK’S HIDE AND SEEK CONTEST?

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On Monday evening, North Precinct Deputy Joseph Spinelli received a tip from a citizen on the whereabouts of last week’s featured “Wheel of Fugitive” target, Charlene Langer.

One of our citizens informed Deputy Spinelli that Langer was hiding in a structure in the backyard of a house in Mims, so Deputy Spinelli traveled to the residence where he subsequently located Langer on the property and took her into custody without incident.

Langer admitted to knowing that she had an active warrant for her arrest and also to knowing that she was the featured target on “Wheel of Fugitive.”

Langer further admitted that she was hiding on the property to avoid capture as she knew a citizen would sooner or later turn her in.

Langer was transported to the Brevard County Jail on a No Bond warrant for Violation of Probation reference Grand Theft.

So here is the thing to keep in mind…if you have a warrant in Brevard County don’t try to hide in a structure out back of someone’s house cause our citizens and Deputies will work together to put you in jail!

Just go on out and turn yourself in at the jail where we can get you into a nice cozy little cell and serve you some of our world-famous cuisine.

Great Job Deputy Spinelli and our citizen partner!

– Sheriff Wayne Ivey
