Brevard County officials are notifying residents that a 100-acre controlled burn will be happening off Babcock St., west of I-95 and south of Micco.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County officials are notifying residents that a 100-acre controlled burn will be happening Monday off Babcock St., west of I-95 and south of Micco.

Prescribed or controlled burning is a technique used in forest management, farming, or prairie restoration.
