Cocoa Police Officer Brian Delos Santos, K9 Kyra to Compete on A&E Network’s ‘America’s Top Dog’ Tonight

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police Officer Brian Delos Santos and K9 Kyra will be competing on tonight’s episode of America’s Top Dog on A&E Network.

The show begins at 9 p.m.

A watch party will be held at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Cocoa on SR 524.

America’s Top Dog,” brings together top K9 cops and civilian dogs alongside their handlers as they compete nose-to-nose on the ultimate K9 obstacle course.

K9 Kyra, a 3-year-old German shepherd, was born in 2016 in Hungary.

She became Cocoa Police Department’s first female patrol dog in 2018 when she was donated to Cocoa Police by the Grace Roberti foundation.

Kyra is trained to serve in patrol and SWAT. She is also trained in drug detection.

Her fellow colleague, K9 Bear, appeared on the show in January and won $10,000 in the competition. Bear also won $5,000 for an animal charity for performance at the competition.
